Volksgarten
A popular city park with a pond, the Volksgarten restaurant and a beer garden right by the water.
The Volksgarten was created in 1887 on the grounds of the decommissioned Fort IV and has been the green lung of the Südstadt ever since. It offers a pond, mature trees, the Volksgarten restaurant, a playground and, in summer, one of the loveliest beer gardens in the city.
