Groß St. Martin is one of Cologne's twelve great Romanesque churches. This three-aisled basilica with its striking crossing tower and clover-leaf east choir was built in the 12th century on the foundations of a Roman warehouse. Today it is cared for by the Brothers and Sisters of Jerusalem.
